A Small Sarasota Team That Makes Everything It Posts
Two founders, one small local team, three years of short-form video shot on location, and local enough that a meeting with us is usually a coffee at your business.
30 minutes, live, with the people who would actually run your accounts.

Three Years, Thousands of Videos, One Bet
Siesta Media started three years ago on one bet: for a local business, short-form video is where your customers' attention is and where trust builds fastest. So we built the Sarasota marketing agency rooted in it. We come to your business, film you, coach you on camera, edit for each platform, post, and report on what happened.
Around here that makes us odd. Most agencies write the plan and schedule what you send them; here the filming is the point, and one shoot day comes back as about eight finished videos.
The bet paid off in public. Todd Alan Gallery, a Sarasota jeweler, went from roughly 3,000 followers to more than 1M across four platforms in three years of consistent short-form video, filmed in his workshop by our team. Across the roster we have documented more than 100 million views, on public accounts you can go check.
The People Doing the Work
Siesta Media was started by Pete and Anastasia on a plain idea: local businesses deserve better marketing than a feed of generic graphics and recycled captions.

Anastasia, co-founder
If you have read our Google reviews, you have already met Anastasia. Clients name her, and they keep coming back to the same two things: her creative eye, and the way she makes people who hate being on camera forget the camera is there.
The creative and social side of the business is hers. Visual identity, content, storytelling, the social presence itself, and the day-to-day execution that decides whether a brand feels like a person or a template. On shoot days she is on location with the camera, directing the owner through it. Bringing a shy owner out of their shell, or channeling one with more energy than the room can hold, is the part of this work we have practiced most. Internally we call it capturing someone's essence.

Pete, co-founder
Pete came to Siesta Media with a deep digital marketing background. He has worked extensively in ecommerce and product development, holds a graduate degree in industrial design from the China Academy of Art, and has worked directly with manufacturers and suppliers, run ad campaigns, and launched dozens of products for multiple brands.
That is why a content plan here starts with business questions instead of content questions. What are you selling. Who actually buys it. Why should they choose you over the place next door. What does a customer need to see before they trust you. What happens after somebody clicks. Content that skips those questions can still look good. It just does not do anything.

Jess, social media manager
Jess runs the day to day on client accounts: the calendar, the captions, the posting, and the replies. If you have ever wondered who makes sure the Tuesday post goes out on Tuesday, it is Jess.

Oliver, editor
Oliver cuts the footage. Hooks, captions, pacing, the version for Reels against the version for TikTok: the shape every video takes between the shoot day and your approval queue is Oliver’s work.
Strategy on one side, creative on the other, in a room small enough that they are the same conversation. That is what keeps your social media looking like your business instead of a template with your logo in it.
We stay small on purpose. The people who plan your content are the same people who film it, edit it, and post it, so nothing gets lost in a handoff. Siesta Media is a women-owned business, and a local one in the literal sense: we live here, we eat at the restaurants we film, and we run into our clients at Publix.
Sarasota Is Not One Market
There is downtown, the Rosemary District, Southside Village, St. Armands, Lido Key, Siesta Key, Gulf Gate, Palmer Ranch, Longboat Key, Lakewood Ranch, and the rest of Sarasota and Manatee County. Each has its own customers, personality, and competition. A boutique on St. Armands and a contractor off Fruitville are not selling to the same person, and should not be posting like they are.
The audience is not one thing either. Longtime locals, seasonal residents, retirees, families, tourists, second-home owners. Some have lived here forty years. Some arrive in November and want to be told where to eat.
That mix is opportunity and competition at once. Restaurants compete for attention on Instagram and TikTok, realtors for buyers, contractors and home service companies for homeowners, retail for shoppers, hotels and attractions for visitors who booked the trip on their phone.
Underneath all of it, the line between a local reputation and an online reputation has disappeared. People ask a friend where to eat, then check the account before they go. They read Google reviews before booking. They find a contractor through search and decide whether to call based on what the last twenty posts look like. Your customers are already online. The only question is whether they are seeing you.
Our job is to turn knowing this place into better marketing for the businesses in it.
We Think Social Media Should Do Something
Plenty of businesses post because they feel like they are supposed to. A photo, a caption, a couple of stories, a Reel when someone remembers. Then they open the account, see nothing happening, and quietly decide social media does not work for their kind of business.
We treat it as a real marketing channel instead of a weekly chore to check off. Done properly it introduces you to thousands of people who have never heard of you. It makes someone pick your restaurant over the one next door, or a homeowner call your company instead of the next name on the list. Most of all it builds trust before anyone talks to you, which shortens every conversation that follows.
So the measure we care about is not how full your posting calendar looks. It is whether more people know who you are, believe you are good at it, and choose you.
We are also not trying to make every Sarasota business look the same. The best strategy is not chasing every trend that comes through. It is finding what makes your business worth talking about and putting that in front of the right people, consistently. It should sound like a person and look like the business behind it, which is a higher bar than it sounds.
We Stay Small on Purpose
Plenty of agencies grow by adding layers between you and the work: account managers, coordinators, a portal for your tickets. We went the other way. Everyone at Siesta Media lives here, and everyone who touches your account is someone you have met. When you have a question, you reach the person who filmed you. A meeting with us is usually a coffee at your business, not a monthly Zoom with a rotating overseas account manager.
The work happens at your place, so we film in person, as often as twice a month on our top package. Your restaurant adds a dish, your gallery hangs a new show, a client closes on a house worth walking through: tell us and it goes on the calendar, because we are already here.
And because we make the content ourselves, when one of your reels takes off we are refreshing the numbers as often as you are.
Who We Work With
Restaurants, catering, real estate, retail, art and galleries, hospitality, nonprofits, and professional services, mostly around Sarasota and Manatee County, with a few clients further afield where the work does not need us on location.
Some of the names: Todd Alan Gallery, Lucky 8 SRQ, Hanami Sushi, Tsunami Sushi, Tamiami Trail Catering, Sarasota Bay Watch, Arts & Central, Art Avenue, Empress Hot Sauce, and Lou's Bonsai, among others.
Views and followers are the documented evidence that the method works, and every number we publish is sourced and checkable. They matter for what they turn into: a business that gets recognized, trusted, and chosen. The counts, the accounts, and the date windows are on our client results page.

What We Do
We run social media accounts for businesses, and we make the content ourselves, on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. Each core piece has its own page, starting with what a Sarasota social media marketing agency like ours does day to day.
- Social media management in Sarasota: posting, scheduling, engagement, and a monthly report on what performed.
- Social media content creation in Sarasota: the audit, the plan, and the shoot days that fill your calendar.
- Sarasota video production: we come to you with the gear and direct you on camera.
- Social media video editing: Reels, TikToks, and Shorts cut to be watched.
- Social media management packages: three published packages, $799 to $3,199 a month, filming included in every one, plus a one-time $997 consultation if you would rather run it yourself.
Around that core, a client engagement can also include:
- Business photography for the website, the profiles, and the feed
- Copywriting: captions, hooks, scripts, and the words on screen
- Branding and visual content, so every post looks like it came from the same business
- Paid social advertising and Google Ads, where you pay the platform directly and we add no markup
- Lead generation, including ManyChat automations that move a commenter onto a list you own
- Analytics and performance tracking, reported monthly in plain English
- Local marketing strategy for the neighborhoods you actually sell in
All of it built around one objective: making your business more visible, more memorable, and easier to choose.
The Terms We Work By
The short version of how an engagement feels, before you ever see a contract:
- You own everything we make for you. Every video, photo, and file created during the partnership is yours. We may showcase the work unless you ask otherwise.
- Our prices are published. You know the cost before you ever get on a call.
- The paperwork is simple. A three-month initial term, because that is about when organic social starts paying off, then month to month with 30 days' notice. No setup fee, no overage, billed monthly in advance. Need to pause for a vacation or a slow season? Tell us 30 days ahead and we start back up when you do.
- Ads carry no markup. If we run paid ads for you, you pay the platform directly. We add no markup and no percentage of spend.
- We do not promise follower counts. We show you what has happened for businesses like yours and say honestly whether short-form video is the right play for yours.
- We move at posting speed. First posts go live about one week after signing, and edits come back in two to three days as a rule, same day when it has to be.
